Intensive Crisis Stabilization Services (ICSS) – Mobile Crisis
269-441-5945

Summit Pointe’s Intensive Crisis Stabilization Services (ICSS), also known as Mobile Crisis, provides 24-hour, 7-day-a-week crisis response services for children, youth, and adults of all ages experiencing a mental health or behavioral health crisis. The program provides immediate crisis support in the community, helping individuals stabilize in a safe, familiar environment while reducing unnecessary emergency department visits, psychiatric hospitalizations, and involvement with law enforcement.
When a crisis occurs, trained Mobile Crisis professionals respond to individuals in their homes, schools, or other community settings. The team assesses immediate needs, evaluates safety concerns, provides crisis intervention, and develops individualized safety and stabilization plans. Services focus on de-escalating the crisis, identifying appropriate supports, and helping individuals remain safely in their communities whenever possible.
Mobile Crisis works collaboratively with individuals, families, caregivers, treatment providers, and community partners to coordinate services and support recovery. The team provides guidance, crisis management strategies, and connections to additional mental health resources based on each individual’s needs.
Following a crisis response, Mobile Crisis coordinates with existing treatment teams or helps connect individuals to appropriate ongoing services. The overall goal of ICSS is to provide timely, accessible crisis intervention, promote stabilization, prevent future crises, and ensure individuals of all ages receive the support they need, whenever a crisis occurs.
